People's day...

Hey guys,

Today, I am Aastha Soam, and I am here to tell you something about Environment day...

So firstly I want to ask you that Do you love nature? I am asking because I love nature too much..., and I know some of you are reading also love nature but who don't, they should also...

Because nature is only the thing which make us happy and calm where we feel Relax, comfort, tension free, and where we can do what we want but now our nature is polluting day by day because of such reasons like burning of plastic, burning of paper, cutting of trees and many more...And only we are the people who are doing pollution, but we can also be the people who can stop pollution and can make our environment clean and live able, but we don't because we think that, that person is doing, so if he is doing it is sufficient but suppose if he/she also thinking same, so what will be happen next ? Then can we live properly? Answer is no, but now also it can be happen if we all will do this together and take a swear that we will make our nature pollution free and make it clean by not using plastic, not using such types of things like A.C., refrigerators, t.v., washing machines, etc
I know you all are thinking that, these are our basic life using things, but if you want to use these things so, you can use, but in less quantity not as much you all are doing now. Do you know? How much these types of electronic things can make us harm? So, I have some points by following, these you can make our environment safe and clean -

1. Don't use plastic.

2. Conserve water and trees.

3. Don't smoke.

4. Stop burning things.

5. Plant a tree even in a week.

6. Don't cut trees for making flats, buildings, industries, etc.

7. Use less electricity.

8. Do recycle, reduce and reuse, these three things play a very important role in making our environment pure and clean.

9. Don't use too much transport.

10. Don't use bottle water.

11. Don't throw garbage anywhere.

12. Throw garbage in Dustbin Only.

Now come on the topic-

So our today's topic is Environment day.

What is World Environment day? Why we celebrate this?

Environment day is one of the biggest event of the world which runs by the United States(UN). Its main motive is to bring awareness in the environment, to protect it, and to look about environmental issues or matters which is increasing day by day.World environment day is celebrated on 5th of June every year.It was designated in 1972 and was first celebrated in 1974 by the UN General Assembly under the slogan "Only one earth".Now It is celebrated in more than 100 Countries by the millions of peoples.World environment day is celebrated with new theme every year...

The Theme of Environment day 2020-

(Celebrate biodiversity)...

This year, the theme of 2020 of world environment day is "celebrate biodiversity"and hosted by Colombia with co partnership of Germany.

Now you all are thinking about what is Biodiversity???

In simple words,Biodiversity is a collection of plants and animals and more other species including Terrestrial, Marine, aquatic, etc.

Now the question comes in mind-

Why biodiversity is important?

Biodiversity is important because It plays a very important role in humans life because it provide us functional ecosystem which give us oxygen, clean water, clean air, helps in soil formation, etc.

Why this year the theme is "celebrate biodiversity"?

The theme is choose by which country is hosting the environment day and this year 2020 environment day is hosted by Colombia with Germany... Inger Andersen, the executive director of the UN environment, Ricardo lozano, Minister of environment and substantial development, Jochen Flasbarth, Germany's Secretary of climate. They are three who said that 1 million species of plants and animals facing extinction and there has never been focus on " Biodiversity ".This year is we have a chance to preserve and restore biodiversity.

COLOMBIA is one of the largest diverse country which focuses on diversity.The rank of Colombia is 1 in orchid and bird species and 2 in butterflies,plants,clean water fish.
